Catching Up

When we Thursday girls arrive at Susie's house,
we're greeted by the sight of her pretty gardens
and the sound of laughter floating from the open windows.
Time to gather around the creative table!

We've been sharing all kinds of stitching lately, sometimes accompanied
by a delicious coffee cake, like this one made recently by Ann.

Barbara has been appliquéing, embroidering and beading more of her village shops, with names borrowed from local stores.

And Carol has been busy knitting some beautiful pieces in rich colors.

Pat R. is meticulously hand quilting this pretty quilt,

and recently shared this cute sheep quilt top she had made.

Anne is sewing this vividly colored wool appliquéd quilt block

and Judy just finished hand embroidering this little owl.

Susie has done so much work lately, it's hard to keep up with her!
This is one of her many fabulous quilts, recently machine quilted by Barbara.

And she continues to work on her hand appliquéd quilt blocks for a baby quilt.

And finally, some of us had fun recently when Ann showed up with some coasters she had purchased while on a trip to Texas. They have an opening to hang on your nose and… well, here we are looking our very best! Our laughter could probably be heard throughout the neighborhood!

The coasters are available at Amazon.com.
                                                                             Lots of fun!

We'll be back soon with more pictures and stories!
