Back Together Again!
It was such a warm feeling to come back to Susie's cottage this Spring and to be able sit together, stitch, chat and share our work once more. The cottage was filled with projects Susie had worked on during the pandemic. Her design wall had pieces that were appliqued by hand and machine pieced - all in cheerful solid colors and prints.
Carol H. showed us a beautiful shawl she was knitting, as well as a couple of quilts which had recently been machine quilted by Barbara.
Daphne joined us for a few meetings before her move to New Hampshire, but we hope she'll be coming back to visit from time to time. Here is a lovely quilt she shared with the group.
Carol S. has nearly completed the Christmas tablecloth she has been working on, a labor of love as it had been started by her mother years before.
Anne is knitting a beautifully complex and textured blanket. Here are a few of the unblocked squares which she has completed.
This is only a selection of the pieces of handwork we've been working on. As always, it's a pleasure to share these photos.
See you next time!!

Doesn't look like the comment I left yesterday has shown up. Just want to congratulate all of you lucky ladies for being able to get together and share your handwork as you share your friendships. Beautiful work here, Judy. A pleasure to see.
