A Long Awaited Update

It has been far too long since our last post, but here we are again,

sharing the projects which we have created in the last year!

We'll start with a little teddy made by Jane,

And she also made this cute unicorn hat!

Pat has made some pretty berets,

beautiful hats,

and some lovely knitted and felted woolen mittens.

Barbara made this clever fabric picture of a local ice cream shop as a commission,

and she has been appliquéing these wool and velvet motifs on squares for a future quilt.

Carol S. finished her hand stitched felt Nativity scene
in time for her church's Christmas fair!

She also had some of her wire sculptures on display at a local art show.

Susie had a wonderful trunk show in October, sharing her many quilts
with an appreciative audience at our local quilt store, Quilted Commons.
Here are just a few of the beautiful quilts she shared!

She also shared some other quilts with us, both finished and in process.

Carol H created this happy sunflower quilt,

as well as a pink and green baby quilt.

Carol also worked on a cozy knitted blanket!

Anne shared a needle point pillow of St. Francis which she had made in past years,

and also knitted many pairs of intricately patterned mittens as we sat and talked.
We didn't know how she managed to concentrate!!

Anne also made these pretty hats!

Judy made some embroidered pictures and appliquéd scenes for
a local art show.

As always, our handwork is accompanied by conversation, laughter and friendship
as we gather together each week,
around the creative table!
