Cozy Days in the Cottage

 It's always a happy feeling to walk down the brick path each week to Susie's cottage, to stitch and chat with friends. Right now the door is painted orange and the gardens on either side are just beginning to wake up, but the atmosphere inside is warm and cozy. Everyone has at least one project to work on and many of us have several projects waiting in the wings. Here are a few things we've worked on in recent months.

 her fluffy pompom hat,

a beautiful quilt for her granddaughter,

and some delightful appliquéd squares!

Carol H, who has been traveling quite a bit, made these lovely shawls...

Judy worked on some little embroidered pictures,

and a page spread for a fabric book she's making.

All in all, we have been busy, sharing stories and stitched work

as we gather each week,

around the creative table!
