Summer Stitches

 We are deep into summer, the cottage garden is in full bloom 

and we've been carrying on with our various projects. 

Here's a peek at what we have been sharing on Thursday mornings!

Susie, as always, has produced some wonderful quilts. There are constantly new ideas on her design wall and we get to enjoy them every week. 

Susie also has made dozens of little quilts which have

 been donated to the NECU unit in a Boston hospital.

And she recently made some new Halloween quilts to donate.

Carol H made this pretty quilt...

and Anne knit another pair of her beautiful mittens.

Pat knit this wonderful lined handbag which she took on her island vacation...

and Barbara completed this beautiful wool applique table mat.

 Carol S. has been continuing with her needlepoint,

and Jane worked on a fluffy "lovey" for a child...

 Judy did a bird embroidery which turned into a card

and a little landscape with lace clouds.

We're continuing to enjoy our summer, create the work we love and 

get together each week to share our progress, along with some 

conversation and laughter.
